HF Net on 7.270 every Wednesday evening @ 8:30 p.m.

Our HF net continues on again this Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m.
You can find the group on 40 meters with the frequency being 7.270 lower sideband for starters.

To reach net control for the evening, fire up your VHF radio and follow on our simplex channel of 146.595 to make contact for updates or issues. This is really important as we found ourselves moving to a different frequency for various reasons.

We’re Improving the Club…With Your Help

The August meeting is very important. We need to address our finances, we want to make our weekly nets work better, we want to explore the need for better emcomm in the North County and we’re going to tweak some of our bylaws.

Also, we received an equipment donation and we’re going to explain where you can find it and make some offers. There will be things from power supplies to antennas and test equipment. Unfortunately, there aren’t any radios involved. Lots of things to go over and we hope a lot of you will be in the EOC this month.

We look forward to seeing everyone once again in the San Bruno City Hall EOC this Thursday evening at 7 PM.

Coffee & a Radio
Thursday, August 27th
Our always popular get-to-gether will take place on the fourth Thursday of the month once again at Starbucks in Bayhill at 9:30 am.

It’s always great to see everyone and we hope you’ll be able to join us as well!

Signup for SMC Alert

Every one should be signed up for alerts in San Mateo County. It’s the best way to know what hazards are on the roadways or in your neighborhood.  It’s also a way for the San Bruno Fire Department can ask your help as a Amateur Radio Operator in an Emergency.
