• Location: San Bruno EOC located in the basement of the San Bruno City Hall
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Class Size: LIMITED TO 24 STUDENTS

STEP 2: Get Your FRN Number (Required - Takes 5 minutes)

Before you can take the FCC exam, you MUST have an FRN (FCC Registration Number).
This is a unique 10-digit ID that the FCC requires for ALL license applicants.

🔹 WHAT IS AN FRN?
The FCC Registration Number is like a Social Security Number for radio operators.
You cannot take the license exam without one - the testing system won't accept
your results. Every ham radio operator in America has an FRN.

🔹 WHY GET IT NOW?
• You'll need it eventually anyway (required before exam day)
• It's completely FREE
• Takes just 5 minutes
• Shows you're serious about completing the course
• Proves you can follow online instructions
• Saves time on exam day

🔹 HOW TO GET YOUR FRN:
1. Visit: https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do
2. Click the "Register" button
3. Fill out the registration form (name, address, email)
4. Submit the form
5. FCC will email you a 10-digit FRN number instantly
6. SAVE THIS NUMBER - you'll need it!

STEP 3: Reply to This Email to CONFIRM Your Spot

Once you have your FRN, reply to this email with:

📧 Email Subject: "CONFIRMED for [DATE] Class"
📧 Email Body: Include your FRN number

Example reply:
   Subject: CONFIRMED for February 15 Class
   Body: I confirm my attendance. My FRN is: 0123456789

⚠️ IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY:
• The first 24 people who reply with valid FRN numbers get spots
• Just replying without an FRN doesn't count
• Spots are filling up - don't wait!
