The
CERT Program aims to educate individuals on disaster preparedness for
potential hazards in their area. This program trains people in
essential disaster response skills, including fire safety, team
organization, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations.
Through classroom and exercise training, members are equipped to
provide assistance to their community or workplace in emergency
situations when professional responders are not immediately available.
