Cleanup 2020 is just around the corner and the environment needs your
help now more than ever to pick up litter pollution in September! How
and when you can participate are different this year due to COVID-19,
but the essential goal of protecting our environment from litter is
still the same. Find out how you can participate and "Protect Your

households, and social bubbles are encouraged to clean up litter in
their local neighborhoods. Cleanups in large groups are not allowed
this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Pick a Saturday in September, or dedicate all four to picking up litter
in your neighborhood with your household or social bubble.
2.Select a team in the city you live in and RSVP directly with a virtual site captain at smchealth.org/ccd.
Prepare your own buckets, bags, gloves or litter grabbers, reusable
water bottle, and sunscreen to pick up litter. Gloves may be provided
by your virtual site captain upon request.
4.Download the Clean Swell app in the Apple Store or Google Play before the event so you are all set to record litter you collect.
