Special Holiday Free Program at the San Mateo County History Museum
The
San Mateo County History Museum, at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City, will
join Redwood City’s Hometown Holiday celebration with Free activities and a concert on December 13, 2025.
Beginning at 10 a.m.
the Museum will present “Tree Treasures” that will feature children’s
craft activities, including making Victorian-era ornaments, until 4 p.m.
At 1 p.m.,
the Museum will stage a free performance by the Wandering Bow band, who
will play a selection of 19th century songs within the Museum’s
historic Courtroom A. This program is sponsored by the Cypress Lawn
Heritage Foundation.
The
San Mateo County History Museum is housed within the 115-year-old “Old
Courthouse” in Redwood City. It features exhibits related to the use of
natural resources, suburban development, ethnic experience, and
innovative achievement on the Peninsula from the time of the Ohlone
natives through today. The Museum is open every day except Monday, from
10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
