Coastal Cleanup 2026 in San Mateo County is coming up
and the environment needs your help to pick up litter pollution!
When:
All month-long in September or join a group cleanup site at the main event on Saturday, September 19, 9:00 a.m. - noon.
Ways to Participate:
1. Join a group cleanup on September 19th at one of over 30 sites. Register with a site captain at smchealth.org/ccd. Complete a digital waiver (English or Spanish) and save the confirmation email to show your site captain. ))
2. Can't
make it on the 19th? Lead a self-led neighborhood
cleanup throughout the month of September. Learn more at smchealth.org/cleanup.
3. Help
us promote the event by distributing posters and postcards in your
community. Request materials (while supplies last) by emailing pollutionprevention@smcgov.org.
4. Spread the word by sharing our social media posts @smchealth.
