Presentation by Dr. Eric Porter, University of California at Santa Cruz
The
San Mateo County History Museum, at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City, will
present Dr. Eric Porter, of U.C. Santa Cruz, who will speak about his
book, A People’s History of SFO: The Making of the Bay Area and an Airport.
Porter will share thoughts about San Francisco International Airport as
a place whose history reveals important perspectives on the region’s
society, environment and politics. The program takes place Saturday,
April 18 at 1 p.m.
