Flows To Bay: San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program

Are you or someone you know an educator in San Mateo County?

The Environmental Solutionary Teacher Fellowship from San Mateo County Office of Education is a knowledge-to-action program that builds teacher capacity for designing and delivering learning experiences that integrate real-world environmental justice issues and are student-centered, problem-project-based, and solutions-oriented!

The program is a ten-month fellowship that runs from August 2021 to May 2022. Fellows who complete all requirements are eligible for a stipend (generally ranges between $750 - $1,000). Check out the video (with alumni testimonials) below and program flier here

There are 6 focus areas to choose from:
• Clean Energy
Land-Based Ecosystems
Sustainable Food Systems
Sustainable Transportation
Sustainable Watersheds
Zero Waste
The Flows To Bay Team will be a community partner for the Sustainable Watersheds institute and will be working with teachers to develop experiential watershed-based curricula, with the opportunity to install rain barrels at schools in support of outdoor learning!
