- We’ll
hold a study session on the Tanforan Redevelopment Project, which will
include a retail village (including the Century Theatres and
Target), new commercial buildings, and 1,000 units of housing.
We’ll discuss the flex zone strategy being employed to allow the
project to adapt to changing market conditions over time.
- We’ll receive the 2024 Housing Element Update and authorize sending our progress report to the state.
- We’ll get a status update on our long-range planning initiatives:
- Climate Action Plan (CAP) – Presentation
- General Plan Safety Element Update – Presentation
- Community Based Transportation Plan (CBTP) – Presentation
- Metropolitan Transportation Committee (MTC) Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) – Study Session
- Housing Element Implementation – Presentation

From our partners at Recology San Bruno: Spring Community Drop-off Day 2025 San Bruno residents are welcome to attend our Spring Drop-off Day to
dispose of unwanted bulk items, e-waste, appliances, latex paint, and
bags of garbage (no dirt, rock, or concrete). NO hazardous waste or
chemicals will be accepted. Events
are self-serve drop-off – you must be able to unload your car yourself.
Limit of 3 cubic yards per resident (3x3x9). Event is for San Bruno
residents only. Must show proof of ID. Date: April 26, 2025 Time: 8 AM – 11 AM Location: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ parking lot (975 Sneath Lane, San Bruno CA 94066) |
Spring Compost Giveaway 2025 San
Bruno residents are welcome to take home a free bucket of compost to
help enrich their gardens while learning about the benefits of
composting. This is a self-service event– please bring your own bucket. One 5-gallon bucket per resident. For more information, contact us at 650.583.8536.
