A Note From Your CEO
Dear San Bruno Community,

For two years, our group has been powered by volunteer passion, building a foundation that supports our local businesses and brings our community together. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a vibrant organization dedicated to serving both our entrepreneurs and residents.

Our Impact So Far: We've organized community food drives supporting local families, holiday toy drives bringing joy to children, and Unity Day celebrations that bring our diverse community together. With our Restaurant Roundtables, we've been able to hear from Saif Makableh, one of the souls of Mazra, and what secrets have made Mazra successful. These events not only help those in need but also showcase the heart and generosity of San Bruno.

Our Vision for 2026: This year, we're expanding our focus to create meaningful connections between business owners and community members. We'll host a Pride celebration that celebrates our diversity, an enhanced Unity Day that brings us all together, and cultural events that highlight the rich tapestry of our community. From business coaching to mastermind sessions and joint marketing opportunities, you can see we're looking to really put San Bruno on the map.

Our Core Mission: We exist to support local businesses while creating opportunities for the entire community to connect, celebrate, and thrive together. Every event we organize is designed to strengthen the bond between our commercial sector and residential community.

How You Can Help: Your chamber membership, sponsorship, or donation allows us to continue building bridges between businesses and residents, creating programs that benefit everyone in San Bruno.

Together, we can build a San Bruno where businesses thrive and our community flourishes side by side.

In Community,
Rebecca Molano

Success Story Spotlight
I initially visited One Love Café to ask Rebecca about selling my homemade desserts from Nina’s Home Bakery, but since I operate at retail pricing, that opportunity wasn’t available. Instead, she encouraged me to join the Chamber of Commerce and consider hosting pop-ups.

After joining the Chamber, I met Saif, who shared valuable insights about running a business, including using platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats. He also offered mentorship and access to his café’s kitchen, which became a major turning point for me.

With his guidance, I improved my website by switching to Square, invested in professional photos, and joined DoorDash. These changes significantly increased my sales, led to catering opportunities, and even brought interest from Uber Eats.

What started as a simple inquiry turned into a transformative experience that helped grow my business, strengthen my brand, and build meaningful connections in the San Bruno community. I’m incredibly grateful to Rebecca and the Chamber for their support in the success of Nina’s Home Bakery.
