What’s up for the Club in 2026

Thursday, January 8th  at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom only
Once again, we can’t use the EOC for our monthly meeting while the City finishes up their remodeling job upstairs so we’re going to have an old fashion Zoom meeting to start the year off with.  We have lots to talk about including the Winter Field Day at the end of the month.  It should be a boring evening to start the year and we hope you can all join us Thursday evening at 7:00pm for this Zoom meeting.

Our Weekly Nets:

Mondays* at 7:30 p.m. Pacific(1930 HRS) *except national holidays.

special note for use of our K6PVJ repeater.  To engage it you now need to set your radio to use the 114.8Hz tone for access. We’ve made this change to reduce interference from other repeaters on this frequency in the Bay Area.

  1. K6PVJ 440.550 +5.0 MHZ 114.8 HZ
  2. 146.595 Simplex

The purpose of nets like this is to test equipment and locations around San Bruno as well as a chance to stay in touch with other club members. Visitors are always welcome to check in.

Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. is our HF net on 7.27

Our HF net continues every Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m. You can find the group on 40 meters with the frequency being 7.270 lower sideband for starters.

To reach net control for the evening, fire up your VHF radio and follow on our simplex channel of 146.595 to make contact for updates or issues. This is really important as we found ourselves moving to a different frequency for various reasons.
