On July 12, 2021, at 9:37 p.m., Officers from the San Bruno Police Department contacted a 25-year-old
female from Anderson, California in the area of El Camino Real and Kains Avenue, in San Bruno. The
female had several outstanding felony warrants for her arrest and was found to be in possession of more
than 126 grams (4.5 ounces) of Fentanyl. This is roughly the equivalent of 65,000 potentially fatal doses.

Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid analgesic that is similar to morphine but is 50 to 100 times more
potent. Over the past few years, abuse of Fentanyl has emerged as one of the deadliest and most
pressing societal issues facing the Bay Area, California, and the Nation as a whole.

Seizures like this quite literally translate to lives saved, in this case as many as 65,000.
The female was arrested for possession of fentanyl for sales, possession of various controlled
substances, as well as several outstanding warrants.

She was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
