Sixth cohort of Youth Climate Ambassadors grouped together for a photo

Youth Climate Ambassadors Graduate!

After seven months of dedication and passion, our Youth Climate Ambassadors officially graduated last month. At the closing event, students presented to peers, staff members, family, and friends about their Community Impact Projects during an engaging poster board showcase. These projects were designed, planned, and executed by our youth leaders to address climate and sustainability issues across San Mateo County.

Congratulations to our sixth cohort of Youth Climate Ambassadors! Stay tuned for our next round of applications to open later this summer.

Fixit Clinics are fun, community-based workshops where you can learn how to repair your broken items. Volunteer coaches will help you troubleshoot and provide maintenance to your household items and appliances.

June 12: Repair Clinic, SSF

Join us at the South San Francisco Library for an informal repair advice workshop. Repair-inclined neighbors will meet in the Makerspace to informally troubleshoot, disassemble, and diagnose broken items together.

Volunteer Fixit Coaches will help you troubleshoot, disassemble, and diagnose broken items. Advance registration is preferred, but drop-ins are also welcome.

Drop off your working and non-working electronics such as computers, phones, televisions, and small appliances. Working items will be donated to local Goodwill stores.
