If you are new to ShakeOut, or have participated many times since 2008,
thank you for your participation! Registration
for 2025 is open and more than 8.3 million Californians are already
set to participate!
International ShakeOut Day is October 16, however you can hold your
drill on any day of the year, in multiple locations, and even virtually
with our updated presentations for drill leaders.

Are You Registered for the 2025 ShakeOut?
To confirm that your household or organization(s) are
registered this year, check your profile at ShakeOut.org/login.
Review our registration FAQ if you have questions
about updating your organization's contact, reseting your password, or
registering multiple locations. Or just contact
us for assistance!
Please also encourage others in your community to
register their participation – check out our many messaging
resources (for social media, email newsletters, news
releases, and in many languages! You can also review your
ShakeOut region's "Who
is Participating" page to see how registration totals by
category and lists of registered participants.

Many ShakeOut participants organize preparedness
fairs, workshops, press conferences, and of course drills/exercises
between now and ShakeOut day (as well as after), that are open
to the public or news media to attend.

2025 ShakeOut Graphics and Messaging

All ShakeOut posters and graphics for websites,
emails, and social media have been updated for 2025. Check out the
ShakeOut Resources or Messaging pages
to download or link to these, plus find drill manuals, powerpoints for
leading in-person or online drills, and much more. There are also
posters and graphics that no date shown. The Messaging page
also has example social media and newsletter content you can use,
videos, animated graphics, video conference backdrops, and much more!
ShakeOut resources are also available in Spanish and
many other languages.
